Come on down to the London-Laurel Co. Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, November 27 from 5p.m.-8p.m. for their Pre-Thanksgiving Sale this season! Shop Local Weekend & Mistletoe Market
Celebrate the holiday season by shopping local in London, KY! Join us for Shop Local Weekend from November 29 to December 3, where you can support small businesses around town and find unique gifts and great deals. Make sure and snag a coupon at the Farmers Market on the Tuesday evening before the event! The coupon will be good at over 3 dozen local businesses! Also, register via QR Code at each participating location for a chance to win a prize package valued at over $1,000!
The Mistletoe Market takes place on Saturday, November 30, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the London Community Center, offering special items from local vendors and a free gift for the first 100 shoppers through the door. Over 40 crafters and makers will be set up offering a variety of items for your holiday lists!
Town Center Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join us as we light up the Christmas tree at Town Center Park on Tuesday, December 3! Festivities start with live music at 6:00 p.m., followed by the tree lighting at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy the interactive Christmas tree, beautiful decorations, and thousands of lights with a dazzling light show every 30 minutes starting at 6:00 p.m. daily. Bring the family to experience the holiday magic!
Lights Around London Christmas Driving Tour
From December 1 through 31, drive around London-Laurel County to enjoy beautifully decorated homes and businesses. Vote for your favorite display via Venmo to support London’s Shop with a Cop Chapter. Randy Smith’s Christmas on Main Parade & Christmas Book Walk
Experience the magic of “A Storybook Christmas” at the Randy Smith Christmas on Main Parade on Friday, December 6. This beloved parade, a 30-year tradition, will feature twinkling lights and joyous sounds to welcome the season. Before the parade, enjoy a Children’s Christmas Book Walk from 5:30-6:30 p.m., where local business owners will read holiday stories at stops throughout downtown. Want to join the parade? Christmas Concerts by the London Community Orchestra & Southeast Kentucky Christmas Chorus
Fill your holiday season with music! The London Community Orchestra will perform Christmas classics on Saturday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. The Southeast Kentucky Christmas Chorus, featuring singers from across the region, follows with another beautiful concert on Sunday, December 8 at 4:00 p.m., also at First Baptist Church.
Lights Over London Christmas Drone Show
Mark your calendars for the Lights Over London drone show on Friday, December 13! Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m., with two drone shows lighting up the sky: the first at 7:30 p.m. and the second at 9:00 p.m. Enjoy the dazzling display from Broad Street or other areas downtown, with Town Center as the main hub.
New Year’s Eve Ball Drop
Ring in 2025 in style with London’s New Year’s Eve celebration on Main Street! Starting at 9:00 p.m., enjoy live music by Andrew Moore & Hooch and countdown to midnight for the thrilling ball drop. Join us downtown for a night of music, fun, and celebration!
