Daniel Boone National Jeep Takeover

The 2026 Inaugural Daniel Boone National Jeep Takeover is set for May 15–17 in London, bringing a three-day weekend of Jeep-themed activities to the community.

The event will primarily take place at the Wilderness Road Event Center (London-Laurel County Fairgrounds 202 Fairgrounds Road London, KY 40744) and is being hosted in part by London Tourism & Parks, ekJeepGang, Coal Country Crawlers, and the Kentucky Jeep Owners Association.

The takeover will mark the first official event held at the property since the May 2025 tornado and will begin the season for upcoming events such as the return of the Archery Shooters Association Tru Ball Pro/Am May 28–30 and the inaugural Southeast Kentucky Fair in July.

The weekend will feature vendors, a poker run, a show and shine, live music, a parade through Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park, food trucks, raffles, contests, and more.

Friday night will kick off with Food Truck Friday Jeep Night at the London-Laurel County Farmers Market (100 West Dixie St London, KY 40741) from 5 to 9 p.m., featuring live music from Dalton Dailey, food trucks, and a raffle.

Saturday’s events are set to begin with vendors opening at the Wilderness Road Event Center at 9 a.m. and a poker run scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The afternoon will include a blood drive, food trucks, and family-friendly activities such as inflatables.

A show and shine will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, followed by a parade through Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park at 5 p.m. The evening will conclude with live music from Chad Rogers, along with raffles, contests, and additional entertainment.

Sunday will continue at the Wilderness Road Event Center with vendors open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., along with a church service beginning at 11 a.m.

Proceeds will support the London Fire Dept, London-Laurel Rescue Squad, and Shop with a Cop. Many department members who are also Jeep enthusiasts have served on the planning committee to help make the event a success.
